We have no clue what it is.

Kyrie Irving might have the best handle in the league’s history. Every week he makes another play dribbling the ball that just leaves the audiences with their jaws on the ground. Monday night against the Mavericks was no different.

Irving dropped 17 points in the first quarter, but this dribble move and pull-up three were easily the best highlight of it.

HOLD ON TO YOUR ANKLES!

Somebody get a medic out here. J.J. Barea is going to need to have his ankles replaced because Irving snatched them. Here’s the thing though: We really don’t know how.

  • If you’re asking yourself what kind of dribble move that was Irving just pulled off, you’re not alone. You can see clearly he goes behind his back initially into the screen. But after that? Your guess is as good as mine.

It looks like he may have dribbled the ball off of his foot and recovered it before he proceeded to dribble Barea into oblivion, but the camera angle just makes it difficult to tell.

But this is still a sick, albeit confusing, move from Irving. We are not worthy.
